New year, new games! What’s not to love about that? This year is going to be an exciting year with all the new releases which are on their way for the current generation of consoles, and the new up and coming generation which we don’t know much about just yet. Here are a few of the up and coming games we’re looking forward too.
The adorable characters are back in their new sim adventure (New Horizons), with a chilled-out atmosphere full of entertaining game play at your leisure. It has been nearly seven years since the original game was first released and we have waited patiently for the sequel, which picks up five years after the events of its predecessor and delves deeper into the tale of Ellie, as she navigates herself through the uprising. Ellie’s stakes seem higher this time round and she seems to want to seek out revenge for something. The game itself look immense with the characters still based around the survival of a post-outbreak world. Are you looking forward to this, because we are?

He’s back, Master Chief is back! Could Halo Infinite be the comeback we’ve all been waiting for? This is the sixth main entry of the Halo series, where Master Chief will follow events of Halo 5 Guardians. Although not much information has been given just yet, the developers have listened to their fans, who were disappointed by the lack of Master Chief and his story during Halo 5. Therefore, this time the developers have given us what we wanted, what more could we ask for? Master Chief as the lead and a new game engine – I’m excited, are you?

Six is back, with a new quest, but not alone this time. Mono is the new playable character who will join Six as she guides you through the new world – which has been distorted by the humming transmission of a distant tower. Working together you’ll venture through the game searching for what is spreading pure evil throughout. During the game, you’ll be faced with new threats and nothing is as straightforward as it seems, be cautioned about the new residents of this dark world too – some more scary than others. The original Little Nightmares is a game which absorbed you into Six’s world from the very beginning, full of dark twists and turns, although a little short, it did not fail to be an aesthetically pleasing game and ominous gameplay which captivates you from the very beginning. Let’s us hope that Little Nightmares 2 is just as good, if not better!

Now physconauts is back with Raz and his friends for another adventure, you will play as Raz – a newly graduated physconaut with powerful supernatural abilities who explores the minds of others. Pyschonauts 2 is a much-anticipated game as it was first announced in 2015, I can’t wait.
